Tip of The Day: Lights Out Mode in Lightroom

When you’re using the crop tool in Lightroom, the cropped edges of the image dim down a bit to show you what you’re going to lose. If it’s not enough to give you a good idea what your image is going to look like, hit the “L” key to go into Lights Out mode. This darkens the borders down further to almost opaque, allowing you to make an easier decision about what to include by moving the cropping borders around.
