You know, one of the things about working at a photography magazine is that all your friends feel compelled to send you anything interesting they find anywhere that is remotely related to photography. And I love it...almost always...I really do. (You thought I was going to complain, didn't you?) For instance, this little gem of a blog from a guy who's three-year-old has an artist's taste for disposable cameras. There are probably a hundred proud papas out there talking about how their kid is an infant master; what makes this post so good is that this guy has none of those delusions. And there is something both hilarious and subversive about his tongue-in-cheek descriptions of "the photographer's signature style." In a few quick sentences he manages to skewer not only overly encouraging parents, but the overly excitable world of art critique as well.
