This photo entitled "Eastern Passage" submitted by Matthew Singer is a good example of how to do reflections. I like how it's not the typical straight across the page horizontal line of reflection. The curving of the pier and boats on the right side add a sense of three-dimensionality. The purple hue of the sky and its reflection in the water are pretty. I only have two major suggestions to improve upon this photo. Firstly, it should be brighter. I would lighten the highlights and mid-tones just enough to see more detail. Also, crop out some of the sky to move the horizon following the rule of thirds.__
