Dogs in WaterThis image by Neville Goldsmith, just barely misses on a couple of points. The sun is a bit blown out. The colors are lacking some of what I would surmise was a beautiful golden tone and the dog on the right is not as clear and is a bit distracting. The texture the ripples in the water adds are nice. Great idea but needs a little work on exposure, instead of using auto exposure take an reading from part of one of the clouds instead of the sun.

Check your histogram and adjust your settings accordingly. To bring out the true colors of the sky you could play around with your white balance setting to help the camera see the colors the way you saw them, set your preset to sunny.
