Rob Galbraith’s review of the fancy new LED backlit display, making its debut in Apple’s new 15 inch Macbook Pro Model, includes a handy section that re-visits color calibration on some of the older displays.
Head here to skip to the section that deals with using a split calibration method to get more range and better color accuracy out of the older Cold Cathode Fluorescent, or CCFL monitors.
If you’re not planning to upgrade to the new LED type display anytime soon, try calibrating the way Galbraith suggests. And for those of you without a Macbook, try this calibration method out on your own laptop and let us know if it improves the color rendition of your model.
