Expodisc VS. Digital Target

Achieving proper white balance is probably the number one struggle fought by digital photographers on location. Mixed lighting sources, a bevy of pre-set white balances, and the varying temperatures of most modern compact flash units all make getting the right color in camera extremely difficult. In an effort to get the proper Kelvin reading first time out, people most often turn to one of two tools: the Expodisc and or some type of Digital Target.
