Planning a visit to a national park this summer? Make it to Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, or Yellowstone National Park and you can attend Canon’s Photography in the Parks workshops for free. The workshops include guided photo tours, loans of top-of-the-line digital camera equipment, and evening programs.
“As far as wildlife and landscape photography goes, these three parks are among the best locations the Earth has to offer,” said Adam Jones, professional photographer and Canon Explorer of Light. The Canon Explorers of Light, including Jones and Lewis Kemper, will teach the programs.
Hopefully, the workshops will help you produce high quality photographs, which you can then enter into the Canon Photography in the Parks Contest. Submit your photo of an American Park until September 29th to the Canon Digital Learning Center. The winners of the landscape and wildlife categories will win trips to a park and full suites of Canon photo equipment.
