Print War Rages On

Of course there are pros and cons to all of the AIOs and what wins out in a consumer’s decision will likely vary based on preference: affordability and quality being big deciding factors, but not the only ones.— Kathleen Davis

Last month we pitted four All-in-One printers against each other an exclusive AIO printer Shoot-Out. In the process we burst the bubble on Kodak's bold cost-saving claims. Our tests found that while you can get inexpensive prints on Kodak's machines, their image quality on the least-expensive paper won't be up photo enthusiast standards.

Inspired, Edward C. Baig at USA Today tried his own test in today's paper. He compared the Kodak EasyShare 5300 to HP's C5180 and rated them relatively the same, but noted some of the same issues (and a few new ones) that came up in our tests.
