Ara1l_2 The photojournalistic work of Jason P. Howe has the alarmingly raw quality that can only be achieved by someone deeply embedded in the environment. The self-taught photographer has worked in more than 18 Latin American countries since 1994, covering ongoing conflicts in Colombia, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kurdistan.

A POYi award winner and contract photographer for the World Picture Network, Howe has worked on assignments with nearly every major magazine and newspaper worldwide. The 36-year-old photographer acquired most of his technical knowledge while working in photography stores in his native England. (Jason P. Howe- Conflict Pics)
