The Thailand Trek was a photographer’s dream, and a treat for all of the senses. This was my fifth trek with Mentor Series and I’ve never been disappointed. Our mentors, Reed Hoffmann and David Tejada were fantastic and inspiring. Both are so knowledgeable and helpful. Most of our best images were due to their guidance. The locations and accommodations were incredible. Bangkok was filled with temples, cityscapes, a gorgeous flower market and a great journey on the Chao Phrya river and tributaries. Chiang Rai was an animal lover’s dream for up close and personal experiences with elephants and tigers as well as a beautiful tea plantation and some of the remaining Thai tribes of indigenous people. Chiang Mai was filled with great street scenes in the Night Market, beautiful temples (with a great model shoot) and a fitting send-off of Kom Loy rice paper balloons. We captured so many incredible images and memories; this was truly a trip of a lifetime. Thanks, Mentor Series. I’m looking forward to my next trek.
