Images with primarily white and light gray tones lend a simplicity, innocence and ethereial purity to a subject. The technique works well for romanticized portraits, such as in Nilgun Kara’s beauty shot here and for portraits of children. Wintery or foggy landscapes and floral studies work too. Just be creative!
