Video: Bruce Dale Looks Back at 30 Years Shooting for Nat Geo

Bruce Dale has taken some truly incredible images over the course of his long career and this video gives an incredible look behind on some of his most iconic images for National Geographic. He goes over everything from basic (if you can call it that) portraiture to attaching remote cameras to the tail of a jumbo jet and making exposures as it flies through the air.

The stories are truly inspiring and the work is of a level anyone who has ever fallen in love with photography would be elated to achieve. It’ll take you almost nine minutes to watch the whole thing, but it’s winter and it may provide some much-needed inspiration during the cold months. If you’re anything like me, hearing him talk about his travels to China will make you want to hop the next jet across the ocean and shoot until your camera can’t handle it anymore.
