I shot this on a table against a black blotter— the hard part was laying out shards with tweezers. I set a tripod-mounted Sony HVL-F42AM flash above and to the right, and triggered it optically.” *Tech specs:* Tripod-mounted Sony Alpha 100 with Minolta 50mm f/1.7 lens.
