Most of the sports photos you see on a daily basis are shot with crazy-fast shutter speeds. It’s necessary if the photographer wants to freeze fast action. But, for this challenge, we want you to think about a sports scene a little differently. Maybe it’s a long exposure of a passing marathon that renders the runners as an interesting, but amorphous blob. Maybe it’s a perfectly panned shot of a passing race car. Be creative and you could win $100 and get published in an upcoming issue of Popular Photography magazine.
