As part of PopPhoto.com’s new look, we have a shiny new Photo Contest area that we couldn’t be more excited about. Our first contest, “Childhood” has only been live for a short time and entries have been rolling in at a fantastic pace.

Until midnight on April 19th, we’ll be taking photo submissions that exemplify the idea of “Childhood.” if our editors pick your photo, you’ll win a Lensbaby Scout ($250) in the mount of your choice.
While you’re browsing the submissions, you’ll notice an “I Like This” button on each image. Click it for the pictures that you think represent the best of the bunch. At the end of the contest, the two entries with the highest vote count will be featured as PopPhoto.com’s Photo of the Day.
We’re already working on new themes, new features, and more prizes to make our contest section an awesome place to see great new work and show off your own. Also, if there’s a photog out there that doesn’t love a chance to win free gear, we haven’t met him or her yet.
