Review: A near-perfect lens, with superb fit and finish, workmanship, performace (picture quality as well as auto-focus). When I need something that's ultrawide, this will perform above and beyond. It is currently the fastest digital ultrawide lens made, and its indoor performance, for which I originally bought it, is excellent. All other digital ultrawides loose light when zoomed in, but this lens' performance is rock-steady. So, what's not to like? Not much. Sometimes I wish it started at 10mm instead of 12, but am not willing to pay for that with lens speed. Sometimes I wish it was just a little faster so it would complement my 18-50mm f/2.8 better. The auto/manual focus slip ring requires some getting used to, but works reliably and without fuss. For the price, the value and performance is incredible!
