Review: I wanted a do it all lens and I had a canon 40D body. I got the 18-200 lens and at first was very pleased. But playing with it I soon found that at per example 63mm the entire right side of my images were soft to out of focus. Same thing at other mms. This was not good at all. I returned and exchanged the lens. Got a new one and it had the same kind of problem at different mms. 80mm in that case. This just completely turned me off the entire thing. Quality control on that perticular lens just wasn't there. I ended up returning everything and getting a Nikon D300 with a 18-200 nikkor and havn't looke back. The nikkor lens honestly is MUCH better. Maybe you are lucky and get a good copy of the Sigma and then it would be fine. But don't buy used unless you can test it theroughly first. My luck was that the service at Henry's photo was outstanding and I wasn't stuck with it.
