What's Hot: Dynamic Range, focusing speed, Quick Menu
What's Not: Ultra-high ISO is not as good, but still good. I don't take pictures with ISO above 1600

Review: I have owned this camera for 4 months now, and used it to shoot a wedding and on vacation, as well as the typical. I love it, for everything that I have used it for, it has performed. Canon and Nikon have similar cameras, but I have no regrets with choosing Sony.
Highlights: The menu system gives you instant access to the most important features, all on a high res 3" screen. The screen itself is beautiful, I love looking at pictures on it. The 5 fps is sufficient-- Canon and Nikon have models with more, but I have never needed more. Focusing accuracy and speed is amazing. In daylight conditions, it is the fastest camera I have ever used or tested. In low light conditions, it is comparable to any Canon and Nikon I have used.
Negatives: I don't have any negatives. It is a great camera, and I don't use it for its high ISO, in which it is merely "good". If you shoot at ISO 1600 or above regularly, you will probably want a Canon 5D. I don't.
Best feature: The dynamic range of this camera is amazing. It has a special feature that is quickly being copied, called DRO (Dynamic Range Optimization), but even without it, it captures almost exactly what my eyes do. That may be a stretch, but I took pictures in Aruba with a wide angle lens, with the sun blocked by a palm tree, but shooting directly at the sun, and the details in the sky and the shadows of the tree are all there, not clipped or blown.
It really is a great camera. If you already own A mount lenses, don't even think about it, buy this camera.
