Review: After 30+ years of film photography as a part-time wedding/portrait photographer using Minolta's SRT 101 initially and then the 9000AF, I "went digital" with the Sony Alpha 100. What a breath of fresh air it was: familiar controls, excellent image quality and ease of use. My 50mm f/1.4 Minolta lens became a 75mm portrait lens, the 28-135mm became 42-202(approx) good general purpose lens and my 100-300mm zoom is now a 150-450 super zoom, great stuff. I was disappointed with the image quality above 400 ISO, but it can be "tweaked" in Photoshop. Generally an excellent camera in its in range, ie, 10+ MB.
