What's Hot: Beautiful LCD, Great High ISO performance, Great AF, Great Viewfinder, Great Image control settings
What's Not: NO 100 ISO, that is to my opinion its mayor drawback

Review: This camera would be just perfect if it only had ISO 100, for us photographers that balance ambient light with strobes, having ISO 200 is the equivalent of having a maximum sync speed of 1/125 ! if you want to overpower the avaylable light with a strobe. Ok there is a Low 1 equivalent to ISO 100 that I still havent throughly checked, I hope it performs very well, other wise Fashion and Wedding photographers are not going to like this NO ISO 100 camera. Come on Nikon give us a COMPLETE product .. this time you will not make me buy a D300s or a D3s or D3x.. enough of that cheap strategy! besides this, this is the only drawback with the D300, I love mine though, but I am keeping my D200 just in case.
Nikon should consider making a ISO 50 camera! not one that starts at ISO 200 if thats so.. give us 1/500 sec sync speed!
