What's Hot: This camera has 51 pionts of avalible focus and up to 8 fps.; and we have 14 bts in RAW available. The seals are great and the construction is solid.
What's Not: We don't have as much speed memory or aditonal ability as the D3. Oh well.

Review: The D-300 has amazing agility and grace. The apionted capabilities of this camera mirror it's big brother the venerable D3. Although the D300 is by standards a lesser camera it has many a refined piont. This is a camera one would be more likely to take into a less than desirable environment than it's big brother for a couple of reasons ; first price and second it"s ability to manuver withot the extra weight and bulk. I freaquenty do high action sport photography and find the light weight manurerablity of the D300 a plus not to mention the cost for the equiptment. I can't justify sacrificeing a D3 just for the shot. I value that far more. To that end The D300 both durable and capable is a excelant choice. I find it Quite enough to subject my high end optics to the enviornmental abuse.
