What's Hot: Very high quality, easy to use, close to perfect with some modifications.
What's Not: Not really usable above ISO 400.

Review: In my quest for the ultimate always-with-me camera, I decided to give the D-Lux 3 a try after listening to a friend’s praise. I find the ISO quality to be superb at ISO 100, very good at ISO 200, and usable at ISO 400. I use the camera mostly at ISO 100. The camera’s image stabilization is very effective and macro capability is very good.
After using the camera for several weeks, I bought some accessories: I bought a stylish and practical case from Leicatime in Rome, and mounted (with removable adhesive) an external Voigtlander viewfinder, the 28/35 Minifinder. Close to perfect… And for the time being I'm not looking for anything else. I'm enjoying the camera, the looks and the pictures.
