Review: Simply put, this camera rocks. With a very durable body, excellent image quality, tons of user programmable functions and menus and a host of other great features, I don't think you'll find a better bang for your buck. And, since it's a Canon, there's a plethora of accessories available for it. From lenses to body armor, if you can think of an item that would be of good use on a camera, chances are someone makes it for Canon. I also shoot with a 5D and the 40D is my new backup. I would have to say the overall image quality between the two cameras is pretty much identical. If you're looking for a good starter pro camera or are an advanced amateur looking to take your images to a new level, the Canon 40D is the camera for you.
