Earlier this year, Samsung announced a Wi-Fi only version its Galaxy Camera, no longer requiring you to be beholden to a wireless carrier to share the photographs you took. The EK-GC110 is all but identical to the EK-GC100, except that it lacks the 4G data chip, limiting you to Wi-Fi rather than a cellular networks.

Yesterday, at a bizarrely huge announcement, Samsung debuted the new Galaxy S4 smartphone. This is the newest flagship device from the giant South Korean gadget manufacturer, and while there are plenty of reasons why it's an important new smartphone, Samsung have also added a plethora of new photo and video features to the device.

When Samsung announced the EK-GC100 Galaxy Camera last year, one of the big caveats is that you needed to sign up for a data plan to go with it. In addition to the $500 purchase price, you'd be spending at least $10 per month to AT&T in order to upload information directly from the Android powered camera to the the internet.

Not long after we pushed "publish" on this post about the hacking potential fo Samsung's new Galaxy Camera, AT&T announced official availability on the hybrid camera and mobile device.
