If you shoot a large number of RAW images, you probably spend a lot of time staring at a progress bar on your computer, waiting for them to trasnfer onto your computer. Lexar hopes to speed up that process that process with their newest high-speed professional card reader, designed to work with USB 3.0 specced computers. The reader has two slots — one for CF which handles both CF and CF UDMA cards; and an SD slot for SD, SDHC, SDXC and the ultra-high-speed SD UHS-I.

There were some disappointed people when Apple announced the iPad 2 and the often-requested SD card slot was still MIA. SD shooters could still go back and order one of Apple's Camera Connection kits, leaving CF shooters out in the cold. But, a company called MIC Gadget will soon be offering a CF-reading dongle for $30.

The number of modifiers out there for camera flashes seems to be growing faster all the time, but any list of essential lighting tools should almost certainly include grids. The newest product from Expo Imaging, who you probably know from the wacky-but-useful Rogue FlashBender, combines three variations into a single package. 

We first laid eyes on these memory-laden monsters back at CES 2011, but now Lexar's pro-grade SDXC cards are officially available for purchase. The 128 GB card is an industry first and checks in at $329.99. The smaller -- but still rather spacious -- 64 GB card costs $200.
