Mike Peters continued to amaze us last year despite a particularly difficult set of challenges. Instead of folding beneath the competitive pressure, he seemed to effortlessly wrangle a veritable bevy of captivating shots in the most uncooperative conditions.
Like what, you ask? Well, you try shooting the notoriously photo-weary locals in New York's Chinatown district, finding subjects on an unpopulated Coney Island on a cloudy day, and taking on the ever-frustrating watermelon element without blowing a gasket.
