Nikon Coolpix S60 with a 3.5 inch Touchscreen LCD released

Nikon has just launched the Coolpix S60 (SRP: $349), a 10-megapixel 5x zoom compact with a 3.5 inch 230,000 dot touchscreen LCD. All but the power and shutter buttons are virtual--meaning sleek lines on this new digicam.

Scene  Auto Selector promises to make nice photos in challenging conditions, and there's also Smile Mode and Blink Warning, which detects blinkers in the captured scene.

A choice of bold colors including Crimson Red, Arctic White, Champagne Pink and more are touted in the official press release, which follows on page 2.
