Fantasea Releases FSD-1100 Underwater Housing

The new housing protects Canon's PowerShot SD1100 IS point-and-shoot down to a depth of 200 feet.

Fantasea has introduced a new FSD-1100 underwater housing for Canon's PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Elph camera. The housing has a depth rating of 200 feet and features double O-ring seals on all controls, an anti-glare hood for the LCD screen, a removable flash diffuser, and a 46mm lens port ring thread for attaching accessory lenses and filters.

Fantasea Releases FSD-1100 Underwater Housing Camera controls that are accessible via the FSD-1100 housing include:
• Power Switch
• Shutter Release
• Mode
• Menu
• Display
• Func / Set
• ISO
• Flash Mode
• Delete / Timer / Continuous
• Zoom Lever
• Macro / Infinity

The FSD-1100 will be available in May 2008 for $245, and comes with a year of flood insurance for the camera used with the housing.
