Hahnemuhle Introduces Canvas Media

Hahnemuhle has added two new types of canvas media for inkjet printing to its Digital FineArt Collection. The poly-cotton Daguerre Canvas 400gsm has a bright white base and a lightly textured surface that lend themselves to fine-art photo printing. The 100 percent cotton Monet Canvas 410gsm features a more heavily textured surface and a base tone that is a softer white. While its characteristics are generally more suited for art reproduction, it can also be used to achieve artistic effects with photographic prints.

Both new media types will be available in March 2008, and will be sold in 17-, 24-, 36-, 44-, and 60-wide rolls, as well as A3 size sheets packaged in boxes of 20. Pricing has not yet been announced.
