Canon Updates EOS-1D Mark III Firmware

The new firmware version improves shutter-release, AF tracking, and SD memory card performance.

Canon has released a firmware update for its EOS-1D Mark III digital SLR. According to the company, version 1.1.3 of the camera's firmware increases transmission speed with high-speed SD cards, fixes a shutter-release problem, improves autofocus tracking, and corrects errors in the Spanish and Korean menus. The update is available as a free download on Canon's Web site.
