X-Rite has launched a new training program that will be packaged with its i1 line of color-management products. The i1Defined program includes two components. The basic component is X-Rite i1 Experience, an interactive, Flash-based training CD with sections on color fundamentals, X-Rite system basics, and digital workflow foundations. The disc will be included with all new i1 packages. High-end i1 products such as i1Photo, i1 Photo SG, i1 Proof, and i1XT will also come with the second component, X-Rite i1 Personal Color Trainer (PCT). PCT is an hour-long online personal training session with a color management expert. Additional training sessions may be purchased as well.
The i1Defined program will be on display for the first time at PhotoPlus Expo in New York, October 18-20, 2007. Further information about the i1Defined package is available on X-Rite's Web site.
