Adobe recently offered a quick look at its new Photoshop Express software at Photoshop World 2007 in Las Vegas. Currently in development, Photoshop Express will provide Web-based photo-editing tools designed for a broad consumer audience. The program is expected to be similar to Adobe's Premiere Express, which provides online video-editing tools and is available on sites such as Photobucket and MTV.com.
Adobe's John Nack has posted a screenshot of the forthcoming program, which shows some of the tools it will include. According to Nack's blog, the software can display a series of automatically enhanced images along the top of the screen, then let the user select one by clicking on it.
Adobe has also announced discounts of up to $150 on its Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended software, available when either program is purchased with Photoshop Lightroom. More information on the discounts is available on Adobe's Web site.
