Made Products has announced a new line of protective cases and tabletop tripods for compact cameras. The Always-On line launches with the Wrap-Up Compact Camera Wrap, Millipod Micro Tripod, and Wrap-Up & Millipod Combo.
The Wrap-Up provides an elastomeric cover that stretches around compact cameras to protect them from scratches and bumps, while increasing camera bulk as little as possible.
The Millipod attaches to a camera's tripod mount with a thin metal base plate. Its legs fold up against the bottom of the camera so that it doesn't have to be removed when not in use, and the tripod can rotate to provide access to battery and memory card compartments. To provide camera support, the legs flip down to create a tilt-adjustable tabletop tripod.
The Combo includes both a Millipod that attaches to a camera and a Wrap-Up that is attached to the Millipod, offering an easily portable combination of camera protection and support.
The $20 Wrap-Up, $25 Millipod, and $35 Combo will be available in July 2007. More information about the new product line is available on the Always-On Web site.
