Canon Updates Rebel XTi Firmware
Canon's EOS Digital Rebel XTi offers 10.1MP resolution and loads of high-end features such as noise suppression and excellent color accuracy, all for under $1,000. See how the XTi fared in the Pop Photo Certified Lab Test.

Canon has released a minor upgrade to its firmware for the EOS Digital Rebel XTi/400D SLR. Version 1.0.5 makes redeye removal available when the camera is connected to some printers, corrects lens-name printing with PictBridge and improves communication with Canon's Speedlite 380EX flash unit.

XTi owners can download the new firmware from Canon's BeBit site.
