Nikon's 33rd annual Small World photomicrography contest will close at the end of the month; April 30, 2007 is the last day submissions will be accepted. Small World is open to amateurs and professionals submitting up to three photographs taken through any brand of light microscope. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts on originality, informational content, technical proficiency and visual impact.
The top 20 photos will receive Nikon equipment as prizes. First- and second-prize winners will receive $3,000 and $2,000 worth of equipment, respectively. The winning images will also be featured in the national Nikon Small World Museum Tour.
