Panasonic Upgrades L1K Firmware

Panasonic has upgraded the firmware for its Lumix DMC-L1K DSLR. The company claims version 2.0 improves the camera's exposure and white balance functions. Other enhancements include a new multiple exposure function; an optically stabilized panning mode; new white balance, ISO and image review options; and simplified aperture controls when using a lens without an aperture ring.

Lumix DMC-L1K owners can download the new firmware for free from Panasonic's Web site.
