The Nikonians Web site has awarded three top prizes in its 2006 Photographers of the Year contest, and has opened the 2007 contest for submissions. Knut Askim, the 2006 first-place winner, was awarded a Hewlett-Packard B9180 Photosmart Pro Printer. Second-place winner Nico Housen received Phase One’s Capture One Pro RAW workflow software and third-place winner Russ Barker was awarded a Nik’s Color Efex Pro 2.0 software. Each of the three winners also received a Nikonians Gold Membership and a Certificate of Nikonians High Photographic Achievement.
