Delkin Devices today announced the release of four new products: the eFilm ExpressCard 54mm adapter; the eFilm ExpressCard 34mm 6 in 1 adapter; the CardBus 32 UDMA adapter; and the Snug-It digital camera skin.

The ExpressCard 54 allows photographers to transfer images to their computers at a rate of 33 megabytes per second and is compatible with Ultra Direct Memory Access Cards, as well as non-UDMA (type I and type II) cards and microdrives. However, it only fits into PCs with 54mm ExpressCard slots. It will be available in April for $60.

The ExpressCard 34 is similar to the ExpressCard 54 (both are RoHS compliant and have Plug-and-Play and Hot Swappable capabilities), but it offers more versatility. The card supports Secure Digital, SDHC, MMC, MS, MS Pro and xD cards, and works with both Macs and PCs with either a 34mm slot or a 54mm slot. The ExpressCard 34 is available now for $60.

The CardBus 32 UDMA adapter transfers images at more than 40 megabytes per second to computers using UDMA-enabled memory cards -- the fastest transfer speed available from UDMA-enable CompactFlash cards to computers. Drivers will be available for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.4.8 in early April for $60.

Snug-It camera skins incorporate flexible silicone petals to protect the lens itself; instead of a cut out that allows the lens to expand and retract, the Snug-It petals open and close over the lens as it moves. Snug-Its are made of smooth silicone that is resistant to lint and dirt, and each one comes with a plastic cover for the LCD screen to keep it from getting scratched and smudged. Snug-It skins will be available in April in black, white and pink for $20.
