Kodak has announced four new Easyshare cameras.
The 7.1-megapixel Z712IS offers an optically stabilized 36mm-432mm (35mm equivalent) 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon zoom lens. Equipped with an electronic viewfinder (EVF) in addition to its LCD, the Z712IS provides manual and priority exposure modes and has an SLR-like design -- except for the absence of a hotshoe.
The 8.1-megapixel Z885 Zoom has a 36mm-180mm (35mm equivalent) 5x zoom lens in a compact body. It offers automatic shooting modes, including 10 scene modes. The Z885 also has a top light-sensitivity setting of ISO 8000.
The compact 6.2-megapixel C613 Zoom and 7-megapixel C763 Zoom both sport 3x zoom lenses and provide basic automatic feature sets.
The $299.95 Z712IS, $119.95 C613 Zoom, and $179.95 C763 will be available in April 2007. The $199.95 Z885 Zoom will be available in May 2007.
