Epson Unveils Affordable, Compact All-in-one

Epson has announced an affordable all-in-one device that incorporates a four-color 1440dpi inkjet printer and a 2400dpi scanner. The CX7000F uses Epson's DURABrite Ultra pigment-based inks to output prints in sizes as large as 8.5x11, and features built-in slots for direct printing from multiple memory card types. It can print index sheets of thumbnail images directly from a card, and supports the Pictbridge standard for printing directly from a camera via USB. The CX7000F comes with Epson's Easy Photo Fix software for restoring faded colors in scanned photographs. And of course it can fax and copy too.

The CX7000F is nicely compact, weighing 15.3 pounds and measuring 18.2x13.9x7.2 inches. It will be available in January 2007 for a suggested retail price of $149.99.
