Sanyo Takes Spin with InvenSense

InvenSense has revealed that Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. has selected their single-chip gyroscope for use in its next generation of digital still camera models offering image stabilization. InvenSense's IDG-1000 gyroscope family utilizes MEMS technology that provides integrated dual-axis solutions in a very small space, allowing for more compact camera designs. Look for new models to hit store shelves next year.
