Nikon Has Bon Jovi's Harley

Nikon is showcasing new products and cutting-edge technology at PhotoPlus, and also JBJ's bike.

November 2, 2006

Nikon Has Bon Jovi

Nikon, Inc. is exhibiting its entire line of digital imaging and software products and accessories at the 2006 PhotoPlus Expo. Attendees may visit Nikon at Booth 618 in the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City today through Saturday.

At the Coolpix Café, Nikon's team will demonstrate the Coolpix S7c's emailing capabilities, simulating the consumer's experience at a Wi-Fi hotspot. Attendees will also have the opportunity to swipe their PhotoPlus badges to be entered into a sweepstakes to win a Coolpix or D80 Digital SLR.

The D80 will also be a headliner at the Nikon booth, with a complete hands-on demonstration area open to the public. The D80 Digital SLR Experience will give attendees the ability to use the D80 to photograph (gasp!) Jon Bon Jovi's Custom Harley Davidson Motorcycle, on loan from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and experience the camera's imaging capabilities. Yes, it's true: Jon Bon Jovi's bike is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (though JBJ himself has yet to be inducted).
