Leica Ships M8 With Capture One LE

Phase One and Leica Camera AG are working in tandem to provide the best image quality for Leica M8 owners. With ths new agreement, Leica's brand new rangefinder camera: Leica M8 is now shipping with Phase One's award-winning Capture One LE workflow.

The Capture One workflow is included in the Leica M8 box as a CD with a license code. The Capture One LE license is cross platform (Windows and Mac operating systems) and includes 2 computer activations and one free major LE update.

Rainer Bültert, Product Manager M-System, Leica Camera AG, adds: "The Leica M8, Leica's first digital rangefinder camera, is aimed at professional photographers and photo enthusiasts. We want to ensure that all M8 owners get the best image quality from their LEICA M8. We tested Capture One as the best converter to meet the high Leica demands in terms of color quality and resolution."
