Minox, known over the years for its impressive miniature 35mm cameras, rolls out the compact Minox DC 1011 digital camera which offers a highly impressive resolution of 10.1 megapixels. Despite its pocket-size dimensions and lightweight elegant aluminum body, this camera is said to offer an exceptional lens and an extremely powerful CCD image senor. This combination is said to ensure brilliant image quality and detail in every shot.
The Minox DC offers a host of photographic options including automatic mode with auto-focus, aperture setting and white balance where the photographer may concentrate solely on his subject or in manual mode where he can control all the important features. Various selectable scene modes provide basic settings, for example night-time or portrait. An ergonomically designed menu settings and a systematic menu help complete some very planned out features of the Minox DC 1011.
A 10.4x digital in addition to the 3x optical zoom provide an enormous shooting options. As a protection against blurred images when using the long zoom range, the DC 1011 offers a built-in electronic image stabilizer. The camera sensor acts like a third hand when shaking of the camera is registered when the shutter is released.
