PixOasis.com Offers Pros Transfer Options

New online solution for delivering high resolution digital photos to clients.

PixOasis.com Offers Pros Transfer Options

San Francisco, CA-based PixOasis.com has launched an online imaging system that allows professional photographers to immediately display and transfer over the Web any number of high-resolution JPEG, TIFF and even Photoshop PSD files photos. The system has no  restrictions on file sizes, from their studios or on location to their client’s desktop as well as offering an added bonus of a free, limited quota starter membership.

PixOasis is said to offer a much needed solution for the exploding professional digital photography market. To date, pro shooters have had to use many methods to deliver digital images. Current delivery systems include shipping CDs, sending images to clients as files using FTP sites, using their own web sites to host their images or using one of the many amateur photo sharing web sites.

With the PixOasis service photographers and clients are said to have an industry-standard to effortlessly send and receive high-resolution photos via cyberspace.

More than just a delivery system, PixOasis is said to also streamline operations for the photographer and end client, being just another step in the digital workflow infrastructure. Photographers can transition from Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or Apple Aperture to PixOasis’s easy-to-use uploading and e-mailing modes. Then, after a photo editor receives and opens his e-mail, they clicks on the automatically embedded link, which immediately takes them to a secure gallery of the photos, hosted on PixOasis’ servers. They can view, edit with the built-in light-box and quickly share the images with colleagues, simply by forwarding the link. With one click, the photos can be downloaded to the client’s computer.

PixOasis allows photographers to create a separate on-line album for each assignment. To protect both the photographers and clients’ privacy, all the albums are secure so that clients to see only the album – and shots – intended for them. For  pricing and more info, go to www.pixoasis.com.
