 Digital Foci has released the new Picture Porter Elite portable digital photo album. Available with 40GB or 80GB hard drives, the photo viewers also include memory card slots and 3.6-inch LCDs. The Picture Porter accepts CF, SD, MMC, and Memory Stick media natively, and most other card formats through adapters.
Playback features let you rotate, zoom, pan, view EXIF information, and play picture slideshows. Plus, the viewer’s video output lets you connect it to a TV, and it’s PictBridge compatible, so you can print directly to a PictBridge-enabled printer.
Picture Porter Elite is compact (5.3x3.1x1.1 inches) and light-weight (11 oz. with hard drive and battery included). Picture Porter Elite comes with Ulead management software (a $70 value), USB cable, video/audio cables, earphones, AC adapter, Lithium-Ion battery, remote control, carrying case, and user’s guide. According to Digital Foci, the battery provides up to 4 hours of video or 10 hours of music. Pricing starts at $499.
