In case you couldn't make it to our gala celebration for the winners of the American Photo Images of the Year competition, check out this film. It's the next best thing to being there. You'll hear from the winners of several of our categories, including Martin Schoeller (portraiture), Sean Salyards (student work), Thomas Mangelsen (nature); and Adam Makarenko (personal work), as well as our grand-prize winner, Chris Anthony.
The event was held at the Splashlight Studio in Manhattan on December 6, with more than 700 people attending. All the winning photographs from the competition were featured in a slide show projection, and a selection of images were mounted in a unique exhibition. The show's luminous prints, from Nash Editions in Los Angeles, were made with the Epson Stylus Pro 4880 on Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper.
