Even with their tiny size, about half that of CompactFlash cards, Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory cards are keeping pace with their bigger rival in both capacity and value. A case in point is Kingston's new line of affordable cards. PopPhoto.com and Kingston are teaming up to give away one Class 4 4GB SDHC card to one lucky PopPhoto reader. Simply fill out the form below, up to one entry per day, and you could be the winner.
Kingston's Class 4 cards deliver 4MB/second. That's more than fast enough for most digital cameras, but the SDHC format's extra speed makes it especially well-suited to use in high-definition consumer camcorders. Retail value is about $50.
Please note: SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
We are also giving away one Kingston 2GB Ultimate 266X CompactFlash memory card.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
