Day 1 Assignment #1: "Eating in..."
“You are to illustrate a four-page article in a travel magazine titled “Eating In Chinatown/Times Square/Wall Street.” The article is geared toward all sorts of travelers who will be coming to this area. So please capture the mood, variety, and ‘flavor’ of what it’s like to eat here. All of the images must be shot within the geographic boundaries of the neighborhood as outlined on the map provided. Submit up to eight images by 8:45 a.m. tomorrow.”

Day 2 Assignment #2: "The Watermelon"
“Here is a watermelon for each of you. Impress us with a photo of this watermelon. Submit up to three images by 8:45 a.m. tomorrow.”
Day 2 Assignment #3: "The Portrait"
“Make a portrait of the model we provide in the Pop Photo Studio. You may use anything that’s in the studio and anything you wish to add. Each photographer will be given a two-hour window in which to work. Submit up to three images by 8:45 a.m. tomorrow.”
Day 3 Assignment #4: "Diary of..."
“This is an assignment in crea-tive documentary. Show us what goes on behind the scenes and in the public eye of Belmont Park race track/the Broadway show “Wicked, The Musical”/Coney Island. Capture the energy, excitement, character, and characters. Submit up to 12 images by 8:45 a.m. tomorrow.”
