Some friends and I were hiking Hawksbill Crag in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. I was prepared to shoot fall landscapes, but on the path I saw this walking-stick and couldn't pass it up. When I lay down on the ground it stood there and seemed to stare right into my camera.
